The Blue Smart IP65 Charger is a professional battery charger with built-in Bluetooth. The status of the charger and the battery can be checked on a smartphone, tablet or laptop. All settings of the charger can be configured with the VictronConnect app. The Blue Smart IP65 Charger can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles, such as (classic) cars; motorbikes; boats and camper-vans.
Most reverse polarity protected chargers will not recognize, and therefore not recharge a battery which has been discharged to zero Volts or a an LFP (LiFEPO4) battery that has been discharged to the point where the BMS has been triggered into Cell Protection Mode (See DCS USA User Manual).
The Blue Smart IP65 Charger however has the capability to detect and provide a low voltage recovery charge in order to release the BMS from the Cell Protection Mode and it will resume normal charging procedure once sufficient voltage has developed across the battery terminals. The charger comes with both crocodile clips and M8 eyelets - making it easy to connect to the battery.
